Throughout November 2026, Orange United Sport brings together awareness campaigns, athlete conversations, community engagement and symbolic sporting initiatives across Luxembourg.

Orange glide - 28 November - Kockelscheuer Icerink

On 28 November 2026 at 17:00, the Kockelscheuer ice rink becomes a place of solidarity.

Initiated by the figure skating community, Orange Glide brings together skaters, athletes and supporters for a special programme of figure skating performances and symbolic moments dedicated to raising awareness about violence against women and children.

Through sport, we unite around one message: No to violence. Yes to respect.

Part of Orange United Sport Luxembourg, a movement mobilising the sporting community to stand together for respect, dignity and solidarity.

Tornado Women | Ice Hockey United Against Violence – 28 November 2026

On 28 November 2026 at 18:15, Tornado Women take to the ice at Kockelscheuer, bringing women's ice hockey into the Orange United Sport movement.

Through their participation, the players demonstrate that strength in sport goes beyond competition. It is also about courage, equality, teamwork and mutual respect.

Together, we stand against violence towards women and children and celebrate the power of sport to inspire positive change.

Football for Solidarity | 29 November 2026 – Walferdange

On Sunday, 29 November 2026 at 16:00, FC Résidence Walferdange welcomes Racing FC Union Luxembourg at Stade Prince Henri for a BGL Ligue match with a special message of solidarity.

As part of Orange United Sport Luxembourg, the football community joins the movement to raise awareness about violence against women and children and promote respect, equality and solidarity.

On and off the pitch, players, clubs and supporters are invited to stand together and share the message.

United on the pitch. United for respect.

No to violence. Yes to respect.

Orange United Sport is supported by the Conseil National des Femmes du Luxembourg (CNFL), whose commitment to women's rights and equality reflects the values of our movement.

Behind the Initiative

Marie-Madeleine (Mady) Elvinger-Werner, a Luxembourgish legal advisor, mother of three and President of Skating Luxembourg, has long been engaged in sport, community life and initiatives promoting solidarity and social responsibility.

Convinced that sport has the power to connect people beyond disciplines, generations and backgrounds, she initiated Orange United Sport to mobilise Luxembourg's sporting community against violence and in favour of respect.

The movement invites athletes, clubs, associations and supporters to take part through symbolic actions, sporting events, interviews and social media engagement using #OrangeUnitedSport.

From wearing an orange ribbon to sharing a message or organising a moment of solidarity, every contribution helps amplify a collective voice.

The ambition is simple: to turn individual gestures into a movement of shared responsibility, awareness and lasting solidarity.
